June is having the worst Thanksgiving ever because she can’t afford to go home and Chloe tricked her into going to her dysfunctional parents’ house. Look how messed up Chloe's mom is - she even makes her husband bend down for this Christmas card.
One little problem with this Thanksgiving dinner arrangement: June made out with Chloe’s dad even though he was married. In order to convince Chloe's mom not to be mad at June, Chloe tells the family that June was in a horseback riding accident, which confined her to a wheelchair. June begrudgingly goes along with this plan to help Chloe out.
If it isn’t bad enough to pretend to be paralyzed on Thanksgiving, Chloe’s dad ignores June the whole party. After a little too much white wine, June causes a scene at the dinner table and Chloe responds by proving that June’s legs work.
June then lets it slip that she dry humped Chloe’s dad. Turns out Chloe’s mom had no idea she was involved in the affair and orders June out of the house. Then, Chloe’s parents give their daughter $2,000 to move out of the apartment she shares with June. In a twist ending, Chloe gives June $1,000 to send her back to the Midwest for the holidays. And guess what? There’s no catch. Chloe is just being really nice. Weird...
Meanwhile, James is volunteering at a homeless shelter. Actually, he’s just volunteering enough to get in a couple paparazzi photos before heading home. Too bad the shelter security guards follow him to his apartment and threaten him to return to the shelter. Then he accuses a homeless man of stealing his $1,500 jacket. It doesn't end well.
