Utah Dancers

Utah has become the epicenter of modern ballroom dancing. In fact, many of our very own DWTS Pros have even trained there. And for some of the Pros who didn’t learn in Utah, they have ended up teaching there!

The second AT&T Spotlight Performance of the season will feature ten of the best young ballroom dancers from Utah. With each of the dancers ranging in age from 15-18, they are truly the bright future of ballroom.

Mark Ballas, who teaches in Utah every chance he can, will choreograph a stunning performance for these up-and-coming dancers to the hit track "She Wolf" by David Guetta featuring Sia. Chelsie Hightower, another DWTS pro from Utah, will add her own flare to the piece by performing alongside this talented young group.

This AT&T Spotlight Performance promises powerful choreography, a fusion of ballroom, hip-hop, and contemporary dancing – it will provide fans with a direct view of what the future has in store!

Brittany Cherry
Age: 18

Currently attends: EDGE Performing Arts Center

Dancing with the Stars Ballroom Battle champ

Goals and future aspirations:
To eventually become a pro on DWTS
To tour the world

Jenna Johnson
Age: 18

Started dancing at age 4

Brandon Armstrong

Landon Anderson

Started dancing at age 3
Currently attends Charisma Studio, Center stage performing arts

-US Jr. American Rhythm champion
-US National under 21 Latin champion
-US representative in the world youth Latin champion
-NYCDA outstanding dancer: National 1st runner-up

Goals and future aspirations:
Continue dancing for the rest of his life.

Tanisha Belnap
Age: 18
Born: Utah
Started dancing at age 3
Currently attends: The VIBE

Accomplishments/Awards:
-Participant in Nigel Lythgoe's new T.V. series.
-"Chance to Dance" and a final member in his new company

Goals and aspirations:
Hopes to grow as an artist in everything she does.

Ruger Memmott
