The Final Five
![For the first time ever, the "Contemporary" dance style was performed as part of the competition. Kelly and Val brought true emotional storytelling to the dance floor with their routine to "Fix You," by Coldplay, and it paid off. Kelly remarked during rehearsals, "[Val's] teaching me how to trust again...it's kind of amazing."

For the eighth week of the competition. Melissa and Tony had two dances to learn: a Quickstep and a Trio Paso Doble with Henry from the dance troop. During rehearsals, Melissa admitted that she never thought she'd make it this far this season, but now that the semi-finals were in sight, she didn't want her dancing experience to end. That commitment and drive paid off as she and Tony landed at the top of the leaderboard with two perfect scores. Their Quickstep was danced to "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" by Marie Osmond, and their Paso to "Rumour Has It," by Adele.
