The Final Five

For the first time ever, the "Contemporary" dance style was performed as part of the competition. Kelly and Val brought true emotional storytelling to the dance floor with their routine to "Fix You," by Coldplay, and it paid off. Kelly remarked during rehearsals, "[Val's] teaching me how to trust again...it's kind of amazing."

Bruno was moved, saying, "Of all the dances that have been assigned, yours was the hardest...you did it beautifully. I believed every moment of it."
