The elimination process begins immediately after the opening performance to reveal that Shawn & Derek, Kelly & Valentin and Sabrina & Louis are safe. Bristol & Mark, however, are in jeopardy.

Old friend Carson Kressley returns to the ballroom revealing that the highlight of his recent behind-the-scenes assignment for Dancing with the Stars was when he got to bronze up Gilles’ chest. Speaking of Gilles, he and Peta are safe, as are Emmitt & Cheryl. Apolo & Karina, however, are in jeopardy. A short time later, Melissa & Tony learn they are safe, but Kirstie & Maks are in jeopardy.

After Dancing alum Donny Osmond and Susan Boyle wow the crowd with a live performance, the elimination process continues as Apolo & Karina learn they are safe, as are Kirstie & Maks. That means Bristol & Mark are heading home.

The dancers must take part in two upcoming performance shows and take part in a team freestyle dance in addition to their individual routines. Here’s how the teams aligned:
