Results Show – Week 9

The Results Show kicks off with an encore performance from William and Cheryl with their Samba. It’s the dance that earned them a perfect 30 the night before. Then we learn that Katherine is doing much better after her injury. She’ll be able to continue with the competition if she gets the chance. She does. Katherine and Mark are ecstatic as they learn they are headed for the finals!

Tristan and Chelsie are the pros chosen to do the Macy’s Design-a-Dance/Stars of Dance performance to Beyonce’s “End of Time.” Then the ballroom audience is treated to a live performance from Alanis Morissette as she sings her new single “Guardian.” Then Maria and Derek learn that they are the first couple in jeopardy. 

Tom Bergeron announces that the next season of Dancing with the Stars will be filled with all-stars. That means all of the stars will be those who have danced in the ballroom in the past. Then Julianne Hough returns to the ballroom with her Rock of Ages co-stars Diego Boneta and Mary J. Blige for a totally rockin’ routine. They are followed by Grammy winner Carrie Underwood, who certainly keeps the party rolling.

We then learn that William and Cheryl are in the finals. That leaves Donald and Peta in jeopardy along with Maria and Derek. When all is said and done, Donald and Peta are headed for the finals. That means Maria and Derek are headed home. The team says a gracious goodbye. 

Can’t wait to see who takes home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy next week in the finals!
