The Suite Life
The Suite Life
In “To Love and Die in L.A.,” our favorite crime-fighters head west to investigate a murder. Castle convinces Beckett to stay at his complimentary two-bedroom suite, but cancels the couples massage. Castle says, “You know what I thought when I first met you? That you were a mystery I was never gonna solve.” Wow. Great line. Still, at the end of the night, Castle and Beckett begrudgingly retire to their separate bedrooms. So close.

No Reservations
In “The Third Man,” Castle is picked as one of New York’s most eligible bachelors. But a blurb in the paper suggests that he may soon be off the market, as he’s rumored to be involved with a certain homicide detective. Castle and Beckett enjoy a date during the case…with other people. See, Beckett found out about the blurb in the paper and had Lanie set her up with a hot fireman. Castle, meanwhile, is out with one of New York’s most eligible bachelorettes. As luck would have it, they all end up at the same restaurant.

He Knows How She Likes Her Coffee
He Knows How She Likes Her Coffee
In “Kick the Ballistics,” Castle casually brings up the time his partner in crime-solving was shot. Beckett sticks to her claim that the entire day is a blank. We know that’s not true. Now we’re starting to believe that perhaps Castle may be thinking that, too. At one point in the episode, Castle hands Beckett her morning coffee. It’s a sweet gesture we’ve seen dozens of times before. It’s also always subtly romantic.

Dance Like No One is Watching
Dance Like No One is Watching
In “Home is Where the Heart Stops,” Beckett must go way out of her comfort zone to enter Castle's glamorous, paparazzi filled world as his date to a charity ball. They manage to make their way out to the dance floor during the undercover operation. Unfortunately, it was only because that’s because it’s the only place they won’t be overheard.

In Like Flynn
In Like Flynn
We had to time-travel back to the 1940s to get an extended look at what Castle and Beckett would look like as a couple. They went by the names Joe Flynn and Vera Mulqueen back in the days when a necklace called the Blue Butterfly was at the center of a twisting tale of passion, deception and murder. Castle believes that Joe and Vera’s love story is the stuff dreams are made of. If only he could be like Flynn with Beckett already.

Up Against the Wall
Up Against the Wall
In “Eye of the Beholder,” Castle is smitten with sexy insurance investigator Serena Kaye. Beckett…not so much. She believes Serena is a thief. The only way Castle can distract Serena from an unauthorized search of her hotel room is to plant a kiss on her in the hallway. Serena is proven innocent and is no longer interested in Castle. She says, “I don’t steal things that belong to someone else.”

A High School Crush
A High School Crush
In “Food to Die For,” Beckett’s old high school friend, Madison, is a suspect in murder. This gives our favorite homicide cop the perfect reason to crash her date with Castle. Madison thinks the reason Beckett broke up her date is personal. She says, “You’re hot for Castle. You want to make little Castle babies.” Beckett cringes when she hears this because she knows Castle is watching and listening behind the interrogation room window. Love it!

Holding On for a Hero
Holding On for a Hero
Several fans mentioned the moment in “Boom” when Beckett’s apartment blew up. Castle breaks down the door, frantically calling her name. Amazingly, Beckett is alive! Castle covers her naked body with his coat (don’t worry, he didn’t look) and they escape the smoldering ruins. Beckett isn’t in pain, but believes her partner is. She knows he must be dying to tell her how he banged down the door. Castle offers to start from the beginning.

Will the Real Kate Beckett Please Kiss Castle?
In “Nikki Heat,” method actress Natalie Rhodes wants to experience the passion her upcoming movie character has with her leading man. Guess that’s why she and Castle are caught kissing in the elevator. But the most romantic moment in this episode comes after Detective Kevin Ryan finally finds the perfect place to propose. He asks Jenny to marry him smack-dab in the middle of the squad room. The answer is yes and the applause from his friends echoes throughout the entire precinct. Love it!

Holding Hands
In “3XK,” Castle is held hostage by the Triple Killer, who allows his captive to answer a call from Martha. Castle ends the call by saying “I love you.” This leads Martha to believe something is terribly wrong. Beckett storms the hotel room. Her partner is fine, but the Triple Killer is gone. The anguish Castle feels now that the murderer got away is almost too much to bear. It’s a good thing he has a partner who knows exactly how he feels and hold his hand for support.

Forget About Love
Forget About Love
In “Rise,” it’s total chaos as Beckett is rushed to the hospital after being shot. Once she’s stabilized, Castle learns that she doesn’t remember much about being shot. That means she doesn’t know that he said he loved her. Most cops never go back to therapy after they pass their psych evaluation allowing them to return to duty. But Beckett has a lot on her mind as she pays a return visit to the police shrink. First and foremost is the fact that she lied about the shooting. As it turns out, Detective Kate Beckett remembers everything. Wow.

Strip Search
In “Almost Famous,” Castle and Beckett investigate the murder of Derek Brookner, one of New York’s finest…strippers! The victim was shot while wearing a tear-away police uniform. Castle says, “You know, ever since I’ve been following you, I’ve been dreaming of the day that you’d say let’s go to the strip club and get this dirtbag. I just never imagined it’d feel like this.” Beckett responds, “Let me know if you need any singles.”

Holding Hands
In “An Embarrassment of Bitches,” Castle gives Beckett tips on how to care for a canine murder witness named Royal. He shows her how the cute pooch likes to be rubbed by making circles with his thumb on the back of her hand. It starts out as a perfectly innocent moment, but then something happens. The look the two of them share lets us know this hand-holding exercise stirred some feelings inside. Moments later, Beckett is being showered with kisses…from Royal the dog after Castle has left the building.

Just Joshing
In “Punked,” Castle catches Alexis kissing a boy named Ashley on the couch. But his real heartache comes when he sees Josh, the handsome man who walks out of the station with his partner. It’s not exactly a romantic moment, but it did do a number on our hearts. The Josh thing didn’t last, so Castle and Beckett were free to experience many more romantic moments together. Check back soon to see them all!

Working Out the Kinks
Working Out the Kinks
In “The Mistress Always Spanks Twice,” Beckett notices that the cuffs found at a murder scene are custom-made and may be easy to trace. Castle wants to know how she knows the bondage bracelets are custom-made. The two partners muse about the psychology of domination and submission and the inevitable comparison to their own relationship. Castle thinks Beckett’s the punisher and he’s punishee. But Beckett has a list of grievances that may prove otherwise. It started the first day they met.

Movie Date
In “Law & Murder,” Castle is psyched to hit a screening of Forbidden Planet. After plans to attend the movie with Alexis fall through, he learns that his partner is a fan of the film. Castle plays dumb about the classic sci-fi flick in order to elicit a movie date from Beckett. Well played, Mr. Castle. Well played. Robbie the Robot would be proud.

Hearts Held Hostage
In “Cops and Robbers,” Castle is caught in a bank hostage situation as Beckett dons an EMT uniform to tend to a sick man inside. She tells him that there are people out there who care about him and that she’ll get him out of there. Castle knows these words are really meant for him as Beckett squeezes his hand. Later, Castle rattles off all the times he’s saved Beckett’s life. It seems he’s been keeping score. Even after this recent bank robbery adventure, Castle still holds the lead 9-8.

About Last Night…
In “Cuffed,” Castle and Beckett wake up in bed together—handcuffed! Okay, they’re not exactly in bed. They’re on a mattress in the middle of a dark cellar. A needle mark on Beckett’s back suggests they were drugged. The last thing they remember is meeting up at a seedy motel for obvious reasons. You guessed it. They were there to see a dead guy. Still, didn’t it make your heart race just a little when Beckett rolled over to gently place her hand on Castle’s chest in the opening moments of the show?

Girls Just Want to Have Fun
Several fans made reference to a quote Beckett once made. She said, “I’ve gotten used to you pulling my pigtails. I have a hard job, Castle, and having you around makes it a little more fun.” We couldn’t agree more.

Castle’s agent tells him he’s being tapped to re-launch a major franchise, that of a certain British secret agent. At the book launch party for Heat Wave, Beckett discovers that Castle called her “extraordinary” in his dedication. The new book is a hit. Castle’s publisher offers him a three-book deal which he takes. He’s simply not ready to walk away from Nikki Heat. Kate Beckett either.
