It was just bad luck as Castle and Martha are trapped as armed bank robbers take hostages in “Cops and Robbers.” However, it was most fortuitous that Beckett was on the phone with Castle when the action started. Using a reflection caused by Martha’s bracelet, Castle is able to relay a Morse code message to Beckett outside. This has nothing to do with luck. This is just an example of two people who make for the perfect team.
