Hello, Funny Face
In “47 Seconds,” Beckett watches as her partner rescues his daughter from the sadness and horror of a bomb explosion. Alexis later makes her dad some “Emergency Cheering Up Pancakes.” It makes Castle think that his daughter shouldn’t have to see the awfulness that’s out there. Alexis lets him know that her job makes her feel like she’s doing something valuable. After all, that’s why Castle does what he does, right?
