In “Eye of the Beholder,” Castle keeps sexy insurance investigator Serena Kaye occupied during a date while Beckett and Esposito search her hotel room. The only way to distract Serena is to plant a kiss on her in the hallway. As it turns out, the sudden smooch wasn’t necessary. Beckett and Esposito found robbery evidence in the room. Serena is under arrest and Castle is in the doghouse. Beckett is upset because he doesn’t believe Serena is guilty. She’s also not thrilled about that impromptu kiss.
