A Heart-Stopping Moment
Season 4 kick-started with a chill-inducing charge of adrenaline as Beckett is rushed to the hospital after being shot by a sniper. Lanie rides atop the gurney fighting to save her friend’s life. Castle is close behind. There’s about six minutes of “hold your breath” moments including a shoving match between Josh and Castle. Though her heart stops momentarily, Beckett pulls through and claims she has no recollection of getting shot. Castle believes that means she has no idea he told her he loved her.
