Brian Leonard is a successful playwright living at The Drake with his wife Louise. Plagued by writer's block, Brian stumbles upon unexpected inspiration in the sexy and flirtatious woman living in the building across the way. With a front row seat, Brian struggles not to stare. But he soon finds staring isn't necessary – his vixen of a neighbor shows up at his apartment, hired as his wife's new assistant! Robert Buckley portrays Brian Leonard, a young playwright married to Louise Leonard (Mercedes Masöhn), who pines for his early success and promise, on ABC's new drama 666 park Avenue.
Buckley is well known for his role as the sexy "Kirby Atwood" on the NBC series Lipstick Jungle, opposite Brooke Shields and Kim Raver. He recently starred on the CW hit series One Tree Hill as Clayton, a brash young sports agent who represented Nathan Scott, played by James Lafferty.
A native southern-Californian, Buckley grew up in Claremont, California, before moving to San Diego to attend the University of California at San Diego (UCSD). After earning a degree in economics, he spent a year-and-a-half working as an economic consultant before throwing in the towel to head off to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. Buckley has worked steadily as a model in both the print and fashion worlds for such clients as Adidas, AG Jeans, Redken, Women's Health, Runner's World (cover) and Exercise for Men. He has also worked as a writer and free-lance producer for E! News, was a series regular on My Network's Fashion House and American Heiress, and has completed several independent movies and, most recently, the feature film Dead of Winter.
Buckley starred alongside Heather Locklear in the Lifetime Movie Flirting with 40 and also had a recurring role on the CW comedy Privileged as magazine editor-in-chief David Besser. In addition he has wrapped production on the independent Western film, The Legend of Hells Gate.
He currently resides in New York and Los Angeles.
